Robot control is a key fitness for robot makers and a considerable measure of advancement is made to build robot execution, decrease robot cost and present new functionalities. Cases of advancement zones that get huge consideration today are multi robot control, safe control, compel control, 3D vision, remote robot supervision and remote correspondence. The application profits by these improvements are examined and the specialized difficulties that the robot makers meet. Demonstrate based control is presently a key innovation for the control of modern robots and models and control plans are constantly refined to meet the prerequisites on higher execution notwithstanding when the cost weight prompts the outline of robot mechanics …show more content…
Fire can be detected by measuring light sources which are in the range of wavelength from 760nm to 1100nm. This can be achieved either by mechanical devices that physically interact with the field or by electronic devices that quantifies and measures changes in the given environment.
Fire Alarm devices, such as fire detectors, have sensors that detect fire/flame and send a signal to a sound device that produces an alarm or switch on an image recording device. There are fire detectors which employ cameras connected to a computer which stores and manages captured images to be viewed over a computer network.
1.2 Problem Statement
The death rates due to fire are very high and increasing day by day. In these rates there are large number of peoples working in offices and other working places. Fire Alarm Systems usually uses water sprays for extinguished the fire. These alarm systems can extinguish fire but can also damages the electronic appliances like computers, LCD’s and important documents.
1.3 Objective
This project concentrates on a development of an Fire Detection Robot. To develop the whole project, it consists of two methods which are the concept of the electrical structure, and the software …show more content…
The SINTEF Group is the largest independent research organization in Scandinavia. It is based in Norway with other offices in other countries.
Anna Konnda is a water-powered hydraulic robot snake. It is driven by twenty custom-built water hydraulic cylinders. The snake measures 3 meters long and weighs 75 kilograms. The control of this robot is realized using numerous microprocessors that control the joints. The main controller can be connected to a PC via a Bluetooth connection. [5]
The Firemote, designed by Ryland Research Limited, is also among firefighting robots that weigh around 450 kilograms. This robot is also remote controlled (up to 300 meters); it can endure high temperatures as well as extinguish fire using either water or foam. In addition to these "basic" capabilities there are also some quite unique ones. [5]
Battery compartments are changeable thus allowing changing batteries instead of charging them. The robot is also equipped with four color cameras that together provide a panoramic view and one infrared camera steerable in horizontal
