4. My father, like his father, the late Dr. Rev. David N. Licorish, was devoted to bridging ethical and cultural gaps, directing, teaching, assisting and uplifting others. As a mentor, he has shown himself to be a living example to me and at least 120 children and teens during his tenure as the manager and coach of the Hancock and Bushwick Avenue Softball Team. He is a devoted family man, husband to his former wife Mildred for over 51 year and managed to raise three college students in the midst of substandard living conditions and in an area influenced by gang violence, drug activity and hostility.
5. PVT E1 Samuel Licorish promotable was stripped of his opportunity to excel with his military peers and was discharged due to inequitable means inconsistent with todays’ traditions and policies of service. Therefore, I highly recommend a character of service change and a discharge upgrade to nothing less than ‘Honorable’. If you have any questions, please contact me at
