The characteristics of the views of education is that there were many years of training.The three phases are….Phase 1- ages 7-14. (Page)They were trained by the lady of the manor. This education included music, dance and manors. They lived at the castle of the lord. Phase 2- ages 14-21. (Squire) They were mentored by an older knight. They also learn how to fight. Phase two ends with a knighting ceremony. When you were a page you left your home to live in the castle. When you were a squire you were becoming a real knight. You would learn how to fight and think. Samurai wrote poetry, also they had a strong feel for discipline and effort. One of the poems the samurai wrote was called Haiku. Haiku was a famous poem with 17 syllables and three lines. Clearly, now that we know about the education knights and samurai had we can see that the knight and samurai did not have the education that we have in the 21 century. In conclusions, knights and samurai show us what a warriors looks like by their purpose of society, code of conduct, and their views on education. Knights are critical thinkers because during a battle they think of different ways to fight if one of them does not work. I also think that the samurai are critical thinkers because samurai have things that go wrong during the fights so, the samurai think of something to do right
