From the beginning, the initial idea has constantly revolved around emotions, people, and creating portraits. However, the course of action I planned to take to create these portraits was quite different. Originally, there were five models who agreed to be photographed representing particular emotions. This would have included materials such as paint, makeup, props, decorated backdrops, and changes in lighting. The aesthetic would have look busy and visually eye-popping. The emotions used for the original five were joy, peace, anger, anxiety, and depression. To portray each of these emotions I planned to study the psychology and history behind colors relating to emotions. Such as what color would cause the viewer to feel the main emotions I wanted to convey. After having classroom critiques with the other Capstone students, meeting with the professor, and meeting with my primary professor I decided to change the aesthetic of the projects, yet maintain the
