This particular scripture reflects on the qualities of an ideal wife and simultaneously serves as a blueprint for young girls to follow. While Proverbs 31 serves as an inspirational scripture, it also clashes with the feministic view of being a self-sufficient woman who is living to please herself – not her husband. Many continue to say this scripture is an outline for becoming a woman of God, which is true.
