In Animal Farm the animals take on the characteristics of the Russians from the Russian Revolution. The main characters in animal farm seem to be most like the main people who participated in the Russian Revolution. For example, in Animal Farm Napoleon seems the most like Joseph Stalin and Snowball from Animal Farm seems the most like Leon Trotsky. With Joseph Stalin he had reasons as to why they kind of overthrew Trotsky, why they needed to overthrow the government and why he needed to be the peoples “leader”. The overall comparison between the Russian Revolution and Animal Farm is the people and the way that the story line of the book and the actual Russian Revolution happened are very similar and the characters form Animal Farm are really similar to the people who had main parts in the Russian Revolution. The difference between the Russian Revolution and Animal Farm is that one has actually happened and the other didn’t and that the story line had some different pieces here and there. The overall story line of Animal Farm sounds really close to the actuality of the Russian Revolution but they had to change somethings in the story to make it appear more fictional than most people would think. The book was really good and I am pretty sure that if they made a fictional book about the Russian Revolution it would be something really close to what this book is.
