One of the stereotypes associated with the Native Americans is regarding their religion. Native American had their religions regarding their culture but for the Jews and Catholics they did not have a religion. For both groups, the way that Native Americans became to religion was that if they pray to something and something happen that was part of their religion also they believed in many things and that made their religion the way it was. Jews and Catholics have rituals but aren’t as similar as the ones from the Native Americans. Native Americans rituals consist of many components. For instance, the clothes that they wear, the things that they use to make the ritual possible, and lastly who is the head of the ritual. Jews and Catholics rituals consist of going to their church and praising their God and honoring him. They wear normal clothes, and they do not use any materials aside from having people to help them praised their God.
The four dominated categories of the Native American religion are under the tribal tradition. The first one is the Oral Tradition which is stories that are told and not written. Native American tribal traditions are composed of stories told orally by one person to others and rituals passed from one generation to the next. By doing this Native American ensures that their religion will be alive and will not become extinct, and for them is easier sine the Native American having many languages but those languages aren’t written.
