Jobs. Steve Jobs created the famous products known as Apple, no not the apple you eat. He actually got the name from a farm he had came from picking apples (Gilliam). By inventing such a significant Apple item in the year of 1984 (Willis). The world has been dramatically altered by Steve Jobs in numerable ways.
The start of Jobs’ Apple invention started off in 1976 with a computer co. with his good

Jobs later sealed a deal with Microsoft his old rival. “Microsoft agreed to invest $150 million in Apple and write Microsoft programs that were compatible with the Macintosh.” (Gilliam 72). By Microsoft doing so Apple had released the Macintosh. Which later became the famous iMac we know now but a better version. The iMac was first introduced on August 15, 1998 but was already big because of the original egg shaped iMac. “Even before it was available in stores, the original iMac, an egg shaped model enclosed in plastic, had more than 150,000 preorders” (Gilliam 72). iMac was doing well they sold over two million in one year. Jobs then created the iPod along with iTunes software. Jobs recognized the importance of music. He stated “ Music is so deep within all of us, but it's easy to go for a day or week or month or year without really listening to music. The iPod has changed that for millions of people, and that makes me really happy, because I think music is good for the soul” (Gilliam 87). The iPod came out October 23, 2001 a little after they announced iTunes came out. It was a marvelous idea to create a product to go with his software to create double the money.
