Implement a Refugee Resettlement Surge
The states bordering Syria are in desperate need of immediate relief of the increased refugee flow, and as migrants move further into Europe and the backlog of Syrian refugees increases exponentially, these countries are faced with an increased pressure to restrict the resettlement of refugees. While awaiting transport to the United States, medical and security screenings of refugees involved in the resettlement surge should be processed simultaneously by Department of Homeland Security (?) trained local agencies, reducing the burden on US Agencies.
