Then again how do you compare sales in electronics to sales in the Softlines, the clothing area? Everyone in the store knows that sales in electronics are way higher than Softlines. She made sales in her department and I made sales in mine, but she got promoted before I did and I wasn’t too happy about it.
After a few months of being ignored and working my butt off, I decided to go to the HR and told her I wanted to transfer. I told her that I was moving, but I lied. I did what was necessary for me to be successful in the work place. She was very helpful with my transfer and got on it right away. My next step was her telling me what I had to do and who I had to talk to in order for that to happen.
