Increase of telecommuting
Telecommuting has been increasing steadily. In the U.S there has been a 20% increase for telecommuting. Along with 80%-90% of the U.S workforce do telecommuting part time. This helps telecommuting become more effective and could save companies tons of money. If people who commute to work every day were asked if they could work from home in Canada, they numbers should be around the same between 80%-90%.
Money being Saved
The money being saved from telecommuting is really something to think about. A business could save $11,000 per year from each employee by letting them work from home and $2000 to $7000 for the employee. This is a lot of money being saved with the same amount of work being done. These results can help companies save money and time from finding a space to run the business
