I really think gender marketing of toys plays a major role in bullying; a lot of children are teased if seen with a different gender toy. For example, if a boy is seen with a Barbie doll, he would be teased for having associated himself with a toy that belongs to the opposite sex. Even if you go to the Wal-Mart website they even have the toys categorized by girl and boy. After doing research I learned that Toys R Us is the only major toy company that has stopped categorizing products as boys or girl’s toys on its website now you have to shop by age; Toys R Us made their entire in store and online website gender
