In addition, stress also can be defining as human’s body reaction, which both neurologically and physiologically, to adapt with a new condition or environment (Elias, Wong & Abdullah, 2011). According to Aspiras and Aspiras (2014), stress refers to a negative idea that can have an effect on individual’s mental and physical well-being.
Operational Definition
Stress is the students’ perception towards stress which is measured by Perceived Stress Scale (Cohen, 1994) which used a 4-point Likert scale, ranging from 0 – Never to 4 – Very Often. Higher scores indicate higher level of perceived stress.

1.7 Conclusion
This research is to study the relationship between personality, stress, and academic performance among psychology students in Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. The research carries out by using the Big Five Inventory (BFI) and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Students’ academic performance will be measures by their CGPA. This research will be conducted in Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, the participants will be choosing from psychology students in TARUC. Moreover, the goal for the research which is to make the students realize that the needs to release stress.
