Let us use Apple as example to demonstrate the project life cycle. This is the stage where Apple as a company decides to launch a product or an upgrade version of an already existing product like iPhone 7. Feasibility analysis or study is the stage where Apple evaluates the costs, benefits, and risks of the project. If I where an executive in Apple my following analysis would be that the benefits would outweigh the costs when iPhone 7 is launched and in the market. Simple logic tells that everybody wants the newest iPhone when it comes out, but one of the many risks that the company runs into is that the demand is high and the supply may not meet the demand.
