These are the few words opening a door of freedom for the Negro. They were said by a man who was not afraid of getting himself killed by the white people after saying these last words of a whole speech he inspired the world by. It is a man who claimed his own freedom without asking anybody for it, but not only that, he also claimed the rights for every Negro on earth. Starting from America all the way to Africa, passing Europe and Asia to Australia. It is Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born on the 15th January 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. King became in his young life a civil-rights activist and a baptist minister. He made a huge impact on the race relations in the United States. He fought for ending the legal segregation of African-American citizens and many people stood beside him, both white and coloured people, and had the same idea of making equal rights for black and white people in America.
