Soft soil, a constant mist and ideal weather conditions were just a few of the things they enjoyed. After the temptation and the fall of man, the tending and the stewardship began to be much harder. Now by the sweat of his brow would he tend to the Earth. The environment and the protection of it, is a huge controversy, and this monumental task was brought on by sin. With that said, failing at being a good steward brings on even greater problems in the future. Moderation most often leads to excess, God gave us the things we needed to survive here on Earth, however our lavish lifestyles is leading to the depletion of resources we will need to survive for generations to come. Our lifestyle in our current culture is having a negative effect on our environment. Being environmentally friendly will take some effort. We must consider the resources we consume on a daily basis, what kind of car do we drive, is it efficient? Are the company 's we buy our goods from supporting the environment, do they take part in replenishing efforts. By nature we are selfish, I want to make sure we are not just all about our survival when it comes to the environment, what about the glorification of God in our eco friendliness. We are commanded to give thanks in all things. We must take care of what God has given for his glory. Being a good steward also involves maintenance and replenishment. Baldwin also said
