I do not think that is the case, I believe that work does teach me other valuable responsibilities, and it prepares me to become an effective adult. I also like to take some responsibility for my personal expenses, and working allows for me to feel at peace with myself. Today I can overcome an obstacle, and I will learn industriousness, that is to say, that I will learn that I am capable of overpassing situations that seem impossible to overcome. If I would quit at the first problem that I face, I would learn helplessness, I would lose motivation and confidence within myself. My academic plans have only been solidified by the things that I have experienced this semester.
