Purpose
The purpose of this report is to examine the concept of nutrition from different perspectives:
The first one will be examining the current trend in the school lunch menus. This is meant to come up with information that pinpoints the missing link in the current foods that are being served by the school.
The second one will bring to light data that justifies the improvement in the nutritional value of the school lunch menus. This will be done while still considering the cost and the challenges that come with the implementation of the proposed changes.

Working Definitions
This analysis will be majorly informed by the aspect of nutrition, nutrition needs to be understood from a number of perspectives:
First is the concept of malnutrition, which refers to the discord between the amount and kind of nutrients that an individual requires and the amount and nutrients that the individual’s body is receiving (Taras, 2005).
Under-nutrition is also another concept that refers to the lack of nutrients or calories that an individual’s body experiences over time.
