It is brought about the question that is, does talent come before the knowledge of what is to be learned? Talent is innate in all of us. We have all different strengthens and talents that differ from those around us. Whether or not it is in sports or in schools, some will take these talents and run with them. It does not just set you apart if you are good at something, or you put a lot of passion towards it, a lot of the process of being recognized for your talent is pure luck. Each and every teacher is different. We all hold our own talents, as do future students. It is important to recognize that not everyone is going to excel at math, or hockey but there will be other subjects out there. There will be a fifth grader that knows more about rocks than Bill Gates, there will be a five year old that can tie their shoe faster than Paul McCartney but that does not take away from their talent, just like Paul being a better musician than a 5 year old does not take away the skill of the five year olds’ shoe tying talent.
