In the beginning of the article, Claudia Wallis present the Cox’s family. She mentioned how their family interacts with each other, “Stephen and Georgina Cox know exactly where their children are. She’s started doing all the task at the same time, but what she is doing was switching task to another. It is like writing a sentence for your essay and stopping to watch part of a movie. Also, Claudia mentioned the effect of multitasking “When people try to perform two or more related task either at the same time or alternating rapidly between them, errors go way up, and it takes longer.” (Claudia, 404). Multitasking slows us down because we suffer from decrease in efficiency. It is hard for our brain to process information if we are doing paper works and watching our favorite show because our brain is not processing the information simultaneously, but it rapidly moves its attention to the
