She is a cheerleader at Ponyboy’s school. She was pretty to Ponyboy, with nice red hair and beautiful red eyes. She was Bob’s girlfriend. She is a Soc, but she is nice to everyone, including greasers. She doesn’t judge people for who they are or what they look like.In the quote, “Things are rough all over” (page 35), Cherry is explaining how even though the Socs get everything they want, it is still pretty hard for them.
