While the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) supervise, the drug manufacturer companies by mandating, commercial ads are truthful in content. More data is needed to learn how to deal with patients who have questions about what they have learned through these drug ads. The ability to understand how patient behave could play a critical role in navigating through some of the challenges that physicians’ face during the office visit. Conversely, patients who are more engaged in their health needs are more likely to adhere to the doctor’s instructions. As well as, help the patient identify symptoms that they may be experiencing and thereby can communicate more efficiently with their care providers. The intention of this study is investigating the influence that drug commercials have on the average citizen and how we can assess the patient’s reaction to the DTCA.
