The Wounded Warrior project has made an impact on many lives by offering their programs and giving backpacks filled with things for the veteran that was injured. Over 3 thousand people have taken part in the WWP’s body programs, over 19 thousand in their mind programs, and over 5 thousand in their economic empowerment programs. I believe that the Wounded Warrior Project is important because they help people who have been injured while at war get back to their old life. The Wounded Warrior project has been significant to people because of their willingness to help the wounded veterans when other will not. Keith Sekora said, “The Wounded Warrior Project is the backbone of my continued recovery.” Joey Hooker said, “Wounded Warrior Project gave me back a sense of brotherhood. I really appreciate that.” The Wounded Warrior Project has had an impact on so many lives and will continue to have big impacts on lives for a long time.(Source
