The study cannot legally, physically, or psychologically hurt the participants. This means none of the subject matter can put them in a legal situation, none of the subject matter should cause psychological trauma, and none of the activities in the research should cause physical injuries. Privacy is another ethical issue of the study, the study should be confidential meaning none of the information should link back to the participant and it should also be anonymity. Consent is the final ethical issue, this means participants will want to voluntary participate in the study. In the case of this study since the participants are minors consent from the parents or guardian. The pilot program uses graphic depictions of drunk driver accidents that might cause psychological harm to the participants. Some participants may go into shock or feel some type of guilt which can cause emotional problems to the participants. Privacy issues are another problem that can occur in the study, since some of the participants may have been involved in serious accidents the study must not release information that can connect the participants back to the study. Finally consent is the last issue that can occur in the study many participants chosen may not want to participate in the study, so consent is need to move forward with the study. In order to address these issues I would first refer this to the Institutional Review Board to make sure the program used is appropriate for the study. I would also have a psychological exam to make sure participants are emotionally and mentally stable to go forth with the study. I will also reassure them that no information used in study will be given to outside sources due to privacy, and finally I will make sure that all participants consent to being a part of this
