According to Aaron Boyce, he said “When controlling for gender and previous aggression, playing violent video games was significantly associated with aggressive behavior”. Teenagers might play some violence games like car racing, shooting, killing, fighting and many others; this will boost the feeling of hostility and aggression. So in real life, a youth might want to do the same thing with human beings. As a result of that, we could see the average of crimes is increasing because many innocent victims are being killed. Another problem is that children will learn bad manners, for example they will steal others’ things and rob their own home items to send it to others (Boyce). I asked them several yes and no questions about this issue. I figured out that 45% of them owned PS3, 90% of them agree that such games could affect the physical health, 90% also agree that these games could affect the educational side. In addition, 48% think that a video game is a waste of time and 45% think that this game is a waste for money. Moreover, I asked them if video games could enhance the level of violence and aggression, 70% answered yes and 30% answered no. Likewise, I asked them if video games are a way to escape problems or negative feelings, 70% answered yes and 30% no. Due to my own point of view, I think that video games couldn’t create new friendships, but to survey students 80% answered yes and 20% answered no. My last question in this survey was about the solution for this problem; 60% said that parents should help their children to discover their talents rather than play a video game, while 35% believe that parents should monitor their children about the types of games they choose to
