The Communist Manifesto is made up of four parts. The first part discusses the communist’s theory as well as the relationship between the proletarians and bourgeoisie. The first system that is compared is the Feudal Socialism. I could not make out many differences between Feudal Socialism and Communism in the manifesto. They also speak of rallying the proletariats to over through the bourgeois, as well as the elimination of private property. Next, Marx compares Middle Class Socialism. Marx feels as if the bourgeois have ruined this system as well. The middle class socialist system fluctuates between the proletariat and the bourgeois, however, similar to all the other systems the individual members are constantly bogged down by competition. Marx believed this system bared the hypocritical apologies of economists, as well as proved the horrible effects of the division of labor (144). Positively, this kind of socialism is to reestablish the previous means of production and trade (144). The final form of socialism Marx contrasts is True socialism. This form was also written under pressure of the bourgeois. This new German literati consisted of introducing the new French ideas and putting them into their own point of view. This system really didn’t mix well with the Germans and earned the name of “Petty bourgeois”
