There are many implication to nurse’s informatics since it can be a behavioral and structural change. Many nurses are resilient to change and that is one of the barriers to adopting to technology. The benefits to technology will allow the nurse more direct care for patient then the time needed for documentation as it enhances safety and the quality to patient outcomes. (Payne, 2013).
