The title alone, 2017: The Year You Make Travel Happen, is very interesting as it is forceful and in your face. It is not suggesting to people that they travel or saying here’s why you should travel; it is flat out telling people that they are going to make travel happen. The tone this sets the post off in an exhilarating manner as being told what to do is such an aggressive way is not something people are used to. The author is using this post to encourage these people to travel and teach them how to travel because he feels it is his duty, after experiencing so much for himself, to allow them the same opportunities that he has had.
2017: The Year You Make Travel Happen is clear-cut in its purpose as a blog post. From the first read it effortless to grasp just how much traveling means to the author. His writing is compelling to the point that it is plain to see he is exasperated by people’s inability to grasp that travel doesn’t have to be complicated. This post wants to reach those that think that travel is impossible for them and show them they don’t have to think that way. With a whole blog dedicated to travel it is clear the author wants other to experience what he has and he is using this post to tell them to do
