Many of Roosevelt’s accomplishments during his presidency were torn down by Taft. The years of “Bull Moose” is when Roosevelt tried to build that back up again. While roosevelt was serving his presidency, he did not get much of a chance to spend time surrounded by nature, and indulge in one of his favorite pastimes, hunting. Post presidency, Roosevelt had more free time to himself, and could nurture his passions, and be surrounded by the great outdoors, which he adored. Roosevelt spent the last years of his life in this decade, and worked hard doing the things he enjoyed the most, and eventually died a peaceful death in his sleep.
