One thing that is important for a veterinarian team to remember is that each pet and their situation will be uniquie and the treatment and the way client communicatin is handled will need to be adjusted accordingly. Sometimes an owner will not be able to comprheded what is happening to their animal, and they might miss vital information that a clinic provides them with. It is up to the staff to ensure that the owner understands everything, even if that means repeating something every day.
An important question that needs to be asked after ever visit is, “Did I serve the client? Did I serve the pet? Did I serve the Bond?”(XXX). These are the three most important aspects anytime a patient visits a vet clinic and it is especially important when a pet has a diagnosis as serious as cancer. Staff will need to take the time to ensure that every decision that is made is in the best interest of both the animal and their owner and the unique bond that they share.
