My Purpose:
My main purpose in choosing to further my education, and finally obtain a college degree, is that I want to help people. I want to help others succeed in the struggle of getting out of that deep dark hole called Addiction. I know first-hand that it is not an easy thing to do, but I feel that when I combine my knowledge and experience from my past, with all that I will learn on my journey to a degree, I will be able to do wonderful things in the lives and minds of all that seek help.

I have always been one to work extremely hard to get the things I want in life. Although I do not like to fail, there are times in life when I do, but I always get back up and try again. I try my best to never let my level of determination deteriorate, and I feel that both my hard work and my determination are key factors in my perseverance of all challenges that I face.
My Discipline:
Although I do work a full-time job, and raise my two daughters, my discipline is a part of my determination. Once I have set my mind to something, such as obtaining my degree, I do not back down from that decision. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goal. My family and I function very well by using a schedule, and now that I have set my mind to obtaining my degree, I have set aside time for myself each day so that I can accomplish this goal.
