Tapeworms are parasitic to their host which mean that they take nutrients from their host. Many animals are an easy target for an infection of tapeworm, especially if left outside. Most people don’t even have symptoms, but if they do they would have nausea, loss of appetite, loss of weight, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Many tapeworms have been found inside of human small intestine and in animals. Tapeworm doesn't have a true digestive track, so they absorbed nutrient from the host. Many research has been done through the years to find how people get infected by tapeworms. They used medical records of anonymized people that have been infected with tapeworms. Soon they found out many of the people infected by tapeworms are people living in poor condition and having an animal in their homes, having a garden of fruits going to the garden to use the bathroom, and hunting and eating the meat [5-6].
