I read The Choice, three-hundred and nineteen pages, by Nicholas Sparks. For this reading journal I branched out some by not reading another book in the Pretty Little Liars series. This book is about the love story of Travis Parker and Gabby Holland. Gabby has just moved next to Travis and at first they do not get along well. Without either of them realizing it, this is where their relationship starts to blossom. At this point in the book, Gabby has a boyfriend that she wants to marry, but she isn’t sure if that is his plan as well. She moved to Beauford, North Carolina and took a job as a physician’s assistant at the…

I’d like to think as I get older that I’m reading deeper, more complex books or so they seem. They are the books where I can almost relate with a character. My mom gave me a couple of books that I really fell in love with, for example, Eleanor and Park. It was about a lovely girl named Eleanor with a not so lovely family. She meets this boy named Park and as I’m sure you can guess they fall in love. The book was one of those where you wish if you could just talk to the characters you might be…

Another way I’d describe her is unloyal. She kissed Melissa’s (her sister) boyfriend. The setting of the book changes throughout the story and within each character. It first starts in Spencer's house where the girls have a sleepover and where Alison is lost. The setting also changes depending on the character. For Hana, its predominantly Mona’s and herself’s house. For Emily it’s the river and her own house. For Aria its her own house and her teachers house. For Spencer its her barn and house.…
