People that were up to the challenge of taking a child into hiding usually asked the family for money since it was such a risky process (Greenfield 33). If the family wasn’t able to give the money that was being asked for, the person would back out of helping to save the child. One of the factors that could help determine where and if a child was able to be hidden had to do with whether the family had close relations with an Anti-Nazi practicer (Greenfield 33).
