Frateuria is a genus that belong to Rhodoanobacteracease family. All three genus share the same class called Gammaproteobacteria. Out of all the three categories, Flavimonas genus has stronger result that showed the higher chance of being the unknown. All three genus showed that they have different type of motility organism, motile and non-motile. Pseudomonas shows that it also has organisms that can have both yellow and other florescent pigment as their morphology. The organisms in this genus can also be oxidase positive or negative. In the same genus, some organism can convert glucose to acid and some can’t; and some can reduce nitrate while other can’t. It lacked the result for Indole to tryptophan. Although the test for Pseudomonas are mutual to both ends (positive and negative) for most test, there is still possibility that the unknown can be from this genus; therefore, it can’t be omitted. However, this can be removed if placed against Flavimonas, which is a subgenus of the Pseudomonas. if the unknown is Flavimonas which is part of Pseudomonas genus, it is comprehendible that the Pseudomonas characteristics are similar to the unknown, which could possibly be its subgenus. That leaves two categories remaining: Flavimonas and Frateuria. However, Frateuria doesn’t have as strong result as Flavimonas because it lacks result for a test, nitrate reduction. It also cannot be eliminated based on the same reasoning as pseudomonas. Flavimonas has result for all seven characteristics describe in the table and the result are skewed to one side, meaning it is either negative or positive that favor the unknown characteristics. Therefore, the unknown has higher chances of belonging to this
