Not to mention that Boca burger tastes great too. For those who are not familiar with Boca burger, Boca burger is a vegetarian meat replacement, or imitation. I prefer the burger crumbles which is a replacement for ground beef or ground turkey. The Boca crumbles are made out of soy protein. One box comes with three individual packets that contain Boca burger. Each packet is equivalent to one half pound of ground beef. I use Boca burger in every recipe that calls for ground beef. It saves me so much time and I know that it is healthier for me. There are a few recipes that are quick and easy that I make all the time with Boca burger. The easiest recipe I make with Boca burger is tacos. I take out one packet of Boca crumbles (equivalent to one half pound of ground beef) and heat the Boca on the stove. I sprinkle Taco seasoning over the Boca to give it flavor. The Boca does not take long to heat up, only about five minutes, so I usually don't pull the Boca out of the freezer until the oven is heated up and ready for the taco shells. While the taco shells cook in the oven for 5-6 minutes, I heat my Boca up over the stove. After the Boca is heated up and the shells are ready, just top your tacos with your favorite toppings and dinner is ready. I do this with 3 to 5 pounds of ground beef at a time, then freeze it in portions. You can make any amount that works for you, and of course the amount of seasoning will depend on personal taste.
