Romanticism was based on the belief in emotions, unrestrained imagination, and based on both art and personal life. Some of the general topics were it portrays the beauty of nature and how the growth of the industry was a threat on nature and human personality. Realism is then based on the real true nature of life, if it looks good or either it looks like what society is like then, industries taking over the environment. The similarity between the both of them that they are on the topic of nature however Romanticism only portrays the beauty while Realism focus on accepting what nature is like in those days.
