The standing leg depending on the subject performing this might rise off the ground 1-2 inches and the kicking leg extending straight out forwards and upwards across the body. Description of Motion
Motion is the act or process of changing place or position with respect to some reference point (Tripps, 2003 Winter). The subject performing this skill will go from a pre phase (figure 1 a), which is standing still horizontally to four other different positions shown in (figures 1 b-1 e). By moving through these four phases (figure 1b – 1e) the subject will produce force to apply to the object that will send the object in motion in reference i. e. fans, stadium. Another example similar to this is a bowling ball rolling down an alley in relation to it surrounding area it is classified to be in motion as its moving. If the ball was to stop then motion would come to a
