It is a personal goal of mine to reshape programs and ease the ability to translate
health policies and research information into formats that are accessible to a wide variety of
audiences, this is essential to bridging the gap between people, medicine, and business.
My initial introduction to Healthcare was in my undergraduate coursework, this was great
preparation upon entering the work force. I am pleased to hold a Bachelor’s of Science in
Healthcare Administration and Planning with a minor in Business. I currently work as a
Managed Care Specialist for the Healthcare Finance and Administration, Bureau of Tenncare.
The combination of healthcare and business, in addition to client servicing has given me a great
deal of exposure to policies as well as the people affected by those policies. My professional
