Some human and nature causes of the disease are caused by heredity, high cholesterol, hypertension (high blood pressure), atherosclerosis, and many other factors. The most common cause of heart disease is atherosclerosis. ("What Causes Coronary Heart Disease?")
There are many symptoms of heart disease that could be mistaken for something else. Some symptoms include angina (chest pain), pain in neck or arm, palpitations, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat. Many of these symptoms are similar to a heart attack’s symptoms; therefore, it can be hard to distinguish between a heart attack and normal symptoms of heart disease. In a heart attack, the victim will be tired, short of breath, dizzy, start having major chest pains, and their left arm and jaw will start to tighten up. The symptoms between both conditions are very similar. (Healthline Editorial
