In a foreign country such as Germany accountability is very important because it’s harder to contact soldiers. The U.S. army values soldiers that are accountable for their actions. Being accountable means being dependable-arriving to work and appointments on time, meeting deadlines, being in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing at the right time. Morning formation is the most important formation of the day. It is also essential to becoming a NCO and taking the responsibility of leading troops down range or on civilian soil. It is made to get accountability of everyone and put out any information that there needs to be dealt with. Without having accountability there does not know of where everybody is or what's going on. Know knowing the severity, now understand that is an important asset always showing up on time at the right place of duty. Accountability is taking responsibility for your actions and your items.Alos it is keeping track of knowing where you are supposed to be and in what uniform. It is the soldier’s responsibility to let the NCO know if something changes or is not able to meet the orders of that non commissioned officer. By meaning what you say, saying what you mean, and doing what you say, when you say you will do it. By keeping track of all my items and equipment I can always be ready for anything that is needed of me by my country, my superiors, or other servicemen. This is more useful in case of deployments and being stationed overseas like we are. Being accountable means being dependable.
