Theories are just theories; they are never a for sure piece of information. According to new findings in the article, “Discoveries Challenge Beliefs on Humans’ Arrival in the Americas,” shows that people have been living in the Americas many years before the Clovis. “Unearthed stone tools proving humans where in northeast Brazil as early as 22,000 years… 10,000 years before the Clovis hunters.” From our previews understanding, we had thought that Clovis humans which came from northeast Asia were the very first to settle in southeastern Brazil. These new pieces of evidence show that what we have long known and confided in is not exactly what it is. The theories we have once held and grasped are now becoming new theories that we cannot just throw out the window and ignore.
