Pandora’s Box was a box given to Pandora, which contained all the evils in the world.
14. Prometheus and the gift of fire
Prometheus, a titan who was known to be a trickster, had given mankind the gift of fire and the skill of metalwork. As a result, he was punished by Zeus, who chained Prometheus to a rock while he had his liver eaten by an eagle every day.
15. Sisyphus’ curse
Sisyphus was a smart, but evil man. He tried to trick the Gods especially Zeus. As a result of this, he was forced to push a boulder to the top of a mountain, and then the boulder would roll back down. He had to do this for the rest of his life as his punishment.
16. Adam and Eve
Adam was the first man created by God, and Eve was made from the ribs of Adam. God told them that they can go to any tree they wanted and eat freely. However, Adam and Eve couldn’t go to the tree of knowledge of good and bad, which was in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve decide to eat an apple from the tree. As a result, this caused them, and their children, to end up dying instead of living forever.
