Piaget and You: Journal
I believe that I would prefer to work with children between the ages of three and four-year old’s. Children of this age group can learn best through hands-on experiences. The part of Piaget’s theory that I think would help me in my center would be that Children are Discovery learners “the idea that children learn best through doing and actively exploring” (McLeod, 2009). I have already learned that children learn better through playing and hands-on which would allow them to remember information quicker than listening this will also help with developing their thinking skills.
