For my posttest, I lifted 91 pounds. This year, I started out lifted 86 pounds and ended with an improvement of 107 pounds. Lastly, the sit and reach test. I first reached 9 inches and ended with 10 inches in ninth grade. In tenth grade, I started out with 9.5 inches and ended again with 10 inches. Overall, I showed improvement or maintained the score that earned me a grade of a five. In and outside of school has helped me maintain my fitness. I am in swimming; so the miles and miles I put in each day, sometimes twice a day, keep my endurance up and muscle strong. I am also in lacrosse. The biggest thing lacrosse helps me with is running. I have to run the length of the field many times during practices and games. It improves my running skills. In physical education, the weight room and long runs helped the most. Lifting and doing core exercise help with the entirety of the core based and muscle tests. The Super, Super-plus, and bridge runs really helped my endurance. Improving 200 meters this year was huge for me. The only things that I do outside of school that helped me off-season were swimming and rollerblading. Swimming in the winter keeps me in shape and prevents me from losing muscle.
