To begin with, schools should start later in the day because, students have the urge to sleep in class. James Mass, a lead expert of sleep says, “ Trying to educate teenagers so early in the morning does no good. Even if lectures and activities are interesting and stimulating, the urge to sleep still reduces alertness, memory, and understanding.” This means that without enough time to sleep, students will most likely fall asleep in class. This leads to students with more time to sleep in the morning getting more knowledge since they are able to pay attention in class.
