“Everybody need somebody”. (Blues Brothers) “Teamwork: Simply stated it is less me and more we.” So with that being said communication is the key to success. Communication is the act or process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to express or exchange information or to express your ideas, thoughts, feelings, etc., to someone else.(Webster dictionary) Without communication nothing would function correctly. Animals, Mammals and insects even communicate, from the lowest creature to the top creature we all communicate, whether it’s through sound, written or body language.
It is rare to see a person or in fact there is not one person on this earth that is getting through the day without a little bit of communication. You cannot walk out of your house without a form of communication. Research has found that three or more people working together on a project are much more effective than a single person spending all of their time doing the same thing. However, without communication, the three-plus team members can be as useless as if the project went untouched. Effective communication allow the people to know their responsibilities as well as holding themselves accountable. This way they know what needs to be done.
