Education is very important, even though most children and teens say that they hate school. There are many dangers of being uneducated. When someone is uneducated it is very easy to take advantage of them and use them to their benefit. In Orwell’s novel he shows many situations that prove and show why people should value their education, Napoleon and all of the pigs are intelligent because they are educated, while the rest of the animals are dumb. With a little propaganda from Squealer, Napoleon is able to initiate the animals to do what he pleases. He can take advantage of them with ease because they are uneducated. When someone assumes power it would be very manageable for them to profit the power to their advantage. This would only work if the people they obtain power over, are uneducated and naive. In Orwell’s novel, Animal Farm, Napoleon obtains the power because he realized that all of the other animals were uneducated and naive, therefore making it simple to control them and benefit from their absurdity. Napoleon communicated with the other animals through Squealer. He would tell the animals exactly what they wanted to hear. Squealer would stretch the truth to make the animals feel like they were being treated well, while in reality they were being treated terribly wrong. While all of the pigs were living like kings and had everything they needed and more, yet all of the other animals were being treated awful but they were being told they were living great so they believed it. All of the animals were so naive that they thought what he was saying was true and they believed him. This is an illustration of how people in power can be extremely corrupt. It serves as a summon to all that they should be careful and not be naive of what is occurring around
