The extraction yield was about 3.5 ± 0.1% (v/w) , which is higher than those found by Haddouchi et al. 2009 and Mohammedi et al. 2010 (2%, 3.09% respectively), for the same species of thyme harvested in Mostaganem province and Tlemcen area (Algeria).
