Prescriptions are written by doctors multiple times a day. The real problem is many of the prescription drugs are not only taken by the ones they are prescribed for. Prescription drugs come in many different shapes, sizes and colors. However, they can all be harmful if they are misused. Xanax, being one of the most commonly misused prescription drug, is very dangerous. Xanax is a highly addictive depressant that is prescribed to help treat anxiety and panic disorders. Many things can go wrong, if only one too many pills are taken. Many people that take Xanax can get addicted to the drug, show signs and effects from the use of the drug, and should get treatment if the drug is being abused.
